Title: Financing Strategies for Sustainable Rural Water Systems

Abstract:
Rural communities face unique challenges with regard to acquiring and maintaining clean water schemes because costs seem unpredictable and funding can be difficult to secure. This research analyzes a case study of three rural villages in Western Uganda to understand the enabling environment necessary to enable long-term clean water service delivery.
