Since 2012, the senior CS students of Lafayette College has been helping a local (Bethlehem) non-profit organization New Bethany Ministries create a computerized system that keeps track of their clients and the services they provide. New Bethany Ministries provides care, services and facilities to the homeless, the hungry, the mentally ill and the poor. Their facilities include the Family Shelter, Mollard Hospitality Center, Food Pantry, Single Rooms and Administrative Offices. The students currently working on the project are Shannon Sullivan, Chris Jones, Nicholas Carboni, Samuel Rosen, and Hongsuk (Paul) Kim. Among them, Chris Jones is the team leader. The students are advised by Professor Ge Xia.
