Abstract:
The search for sustainable energy sources has enhanced in recent years due to increasing global energy demands combined with limited sources of fossil fuels and the growing concern over the global environmental impact. An overview of three ongoing projects investigating production of fuels from waste plastics, waste paper, and algae are presented and advantages/challenges of each are discussed.
